If you want to visit parts of Belgrade which cannot be reached by foot, organize yourself to spend a day there (Ada Ciganlija, Zemun, Topčider). If you come to Belgrade by bus or train, don’t take a taxi in front of the stations, these are most expensive and some of them are illegal, trying to make some tax-free money. The best way is to walk across and ask somebody to call regular radio taxi for you. Always insist on taximeter, but generally taxis in Belgrade are not expensive.
